WebThe reason to have soldiers doing the hauling is that they become desensitized to the sight of dead bodies the more deaths they've seen. Assuming you chose dwarves with good stress-resistant personalities for your soldiers, they'll hopefully get desensitized before going crazy. Once they're desensitized, you're home free.
